These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and SocialJam S.L. By downloading, installing, or using the Skeep application, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
These Terms govern your access to and use of Skeep, including its mobile application, website, and all related services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by SocialJam S.L. ("we," "our," or "us").
By creating an account, tapping "I Agree," or otherwise accessing the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
Our Service is distributed through the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store. Additional terms imposed by Apple Inc. or Google LLC may also apply to your use of the app, and you agree to comply with those platform-specific terms as applicable.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use Skeep. If you are between 13 and 17 years old (or under the applicable age of majority in your jurisdiction), you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that a user under 13 has registered, we will delete their account and associated data promptly. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, please contact us at hi@skeep.me.
Certain features — including in-app purchases and messaging — may require verified parental consent for users under 18. We reserve the right to restrict access to these features for minors at our discretion.
To access Skeep's features, you must create an account. When registering, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information, including:
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at hi@skeep.me if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account. We are not liable for losses caused by unauthorised use of your account.
You may only maintain one active account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent bans, exploit game systems, or otherwise abuse the Service is prohibited and may result in permanent termination of all associated accounts.
Usernames must not impersonate another person, entity, or brand; contain offensive, obscene, or discriminatory language; or otherwise violate these Terms. We reserve the right to reclaim or rename any username at our discretion.
Skeep allows you to create, upload, and share content including profile pictures and messages. You retain ownership of content you create, but by uploading it to the Service you grant SocialJam S.L. a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to use, store, display, and distribute that content solely in connection with operating and improving the Service.
You agree not to use the Service to:
Violations may result in content removal, temporary suspension, or permanent account termination without notice or refund. We may report illegal activity to relevant authorities.
Skeep enables you to discover games via a scrollable feed and participate in turn-based 1v1 challenges against friends and randomly matched opponents. The following rules apply to all gameplay:
All players must compete fairly. Using any method to gain an unfair advantage — including exploiting software bugs, timing manipulation, or collusion — is strictly prohibited.
When you accept or issue a challenge, you agree to complete the game in good faith. Deliberately abandoning matches to manipulate win/loss records may result in penalties including temporary matchmaking restrictions.
We maintain records of games played associated with your account. These records may be used to calculate rankings, display statistics on your profile, and improve our matching algorithms. You consent to the collection and use of gameplay data as described in our Privacy Policy.
Unless explicitly stated in a separately published promotion governed by its own official rules, Skeep challenges do not involve wagering, gambling, or prizes of real-world monetary value. Virtual rewards (points, badges, etc.) have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money or goods.
Skeep provides direct messaging between friends and group chat functionality. By using these features, you acknowledge and agree:
You can manage your friend list, block users, and leave group chats at any time through your account settings. Blocking a user prevents them from messaging you or challenging you to games.
Your privacy is important to us. Our full Privacy Policy, available at skeep.app/privacy, explains in detail how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data. The following is a summary of the key data we collect and its purpose:

We may share limited data with trusted third-party partners, including advertising networks, analytics providers, and payment processors, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. You can exercise these rights through your account settings or by contacting us at hi@skeep.me. Users in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and California have additional rights as described in our Privacy Policy.
Skeep is supported in part by advertising. By using the free tier of the Service, you agree to the display of advertisements, which may appear as video ads, banner ads, or interstitial ads between gameplay sessions.
We may use data about your activity, device, and general location to serve you relevant advertisements through third-party advertising networks. You can opt out of interest-based advertising in your device settings (iOS: Settings → Privacy → Tracking; Android: Settings → Google → Ads) or through the in-app ad preferences menu.
Advertisements are served by independent third-party networks. We are not responsible for the content of third-party ads. If you encounter an ad that you believe is inappropriate or deceptive, please report it using the in-app flag tool.
We do not serve behavioural advertising to users who have identified as under 13, or where we have reason to believe a user is a child. For users between 13 and 17, advertising served will comply with applicable laws regarding advertising to minors.
Premium users enjoy an ad-free experience as part of their subscription. See Section 9 for subscription details.
Skeep offers an optional Premium subscription that provides an enhanced, ad-free experience and access to exclusive features. The following terms govern all subscriptions and in-app purchases.
Subscription pricing and available plans are displayed within the app and on our website at skeep.app/premium. Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, as selected) and will auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account at the time of purchase confirmation.
We may offer free trial periods. Unless you cancel before the trial period ends, your account will be charged at the standard subscription rate at the start of the first billing cycle. Only one free trial is available per Apple ID or Google account.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's subscription management settings (Apple ID → Subscriptions or Google Play → Subscriptions). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you will retain Premium access until that date. We do not provide partial refunds for unused subscription periods except as required by applicable law.
All purchases are processed by Apple or Google. Refund requests must be submitted through the relevant platform's refund process — support.apple.com/billing for iOS purchases and the Google Play Help Centre for Android purchases. We cannot directly issue refunds for platform-processed transactions.
We may change subscription prices at any time. If your subscription price increases, we will notify you in advance and you will have the opportunity to cancel before the new price takes effect. Continued use of the subscription after the effective date of a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.
Any virtual currency, items, or cosmetics purchased through the Service are licensed, not sold, to you. They have no monetary value, cannot be transferred, traded for real money, or refunded except as required by law. We may modify, discontinue, or remove virtual items at any time.
All content and technology forming the Service — including but not limited to software, game code, graphics, designs, logos, text, audio, video, and the Skeep name and brand — is owned by or licensed to SocialJam S.L. and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes in accordance with these Terms. This licence does not include the right to:
If you believe content on Skeep infringes your copyright, please send a notice to hi@skeep.me including: identification of the copyrighted work; identification of the infringing content and its location; your contact information; and a statement that you have a good faith belief the use is unauthorised. We will respond to valid notices in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and applicable law.
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that: (a) the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure; (b) any defects or errors will be corrected; (c) the Service or servers are free of viruses or harmful components; or (d) results obtained from using the Service will be accurate or reliable.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties. In those jurisdictions, the above exclusions apply only to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SocialJam S.L. and its officers, directors, employees, agents, partners, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, goodwill, data, or other intangible losses, arising from:
In no event shall our total cumulative liability to you exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $100.
Certain jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability for personal injury or certain types of damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Either party may terminate the agreement formed by these Terms at any time.
You may delete your account at any time through account settings. Upon deletion, your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Note that cancelling a subscription does not automatically delete your account.
We may suspend or permanently terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have: violated these Terms; engaged in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity; posed a risk to the safety of other users; or for any other reason at our sole discretion.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law — shall survive. We are not liable for any consequences of termination, including loss of virtual items or subscription value.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Spain, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Before initiating any formal dispute proceedings, you agree to first contact us at hi@skeep.me and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will make good-faith efforts to resolve any dispute within 30 days of receiving your notice.
If informal resolution fails, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be settled by binding arbitration administered by the Spanish Arbitration Court (Corte Española de Arbitraje) under its rules. Arbitration shall be conducted in English. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding, and judgment may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.
You agree to resolve disputes with us only on an individual basis, and waive your right to participate in any class action, class arbitration, or representative proceeding. This waiver applies unless prohibited by applicable law.
Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent infringement of intellectual property rights or to protect confidential information.
If you are located in the European Union or United Kingdom, you may also have the right to bring a claim in the courts of your country of residence and to access the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory consumer rights under applicable EU or UK law.
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Service, legal requirements, or business practices. When we make material changes, we will notify you by:
If you continue to use the Service after the effective date of updated Terms, you are deemed to have accepted the changes. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service and may delete your account.
For minor changes (such as corrections of typographical errors or clarifications that do not materially affect your rights), we may update the Terms without prior notice.
